Here at Crescent Moon we seem to finding sprinkings of glitter in the most unusual places. It must be nearly Christmas.
We are thick in the season of shimmering winter-wonderland scenes adorned with sparkling birch trees, delicate fairy-light canopies, oversized baubles and faux fur throws. There’s something very satisfying about creating our work at this time of year!
It’s always great to work locally, and what a treat it was to create the ambience for the fabulous Mi Flamenco performance recently at our favourite Somerset hang out, At The Chapel. A really fantastic night!
We are (excuse the pun) over the moon with our new website! We do hope you like it as much as we do and welcome all your comments and feedback, please do contact us and let us know what you think!
Many thanks to Ben, Sulli and Luke at Pencil Studio for implementing the great new look.
We thought we would take the opportunity to say a few thanks to some of the great companies and people we have worked with on events over the past few years, so here goes…
We’ve worked with Kaye at Creative Catering on many events now, particularly those with a Moroccan flavour. We’ve created interiors reminiscent of a modern Marrakesh lounge bar, complete with sumptuous low seating islands set within a Moroccan motif lined marquee with giant palms and beautiful ornate hanging lanterns and guests have dined on exotic canapes, delicious Lamb Tagine and fruity couscous, prepared by the experts at Creative Catering. We look forward to many future collaborations with Kaye and her team.
We’ve teamed up with Kate at Rare Food on several events now and love that Kate and her team specialise in serving up local, seasonal and organic fare. One of our favourite projects together was a particularly stunning December wedding in the Chilterns. Guests entered through a Christmas market with roasted chestnuts, mulled wine stalls, a gingerbread chapel & marshmallow trees for toasting on the open brazier to the heavenly sound of a carolling gospel choir. We decked a 50ft Chrismas tree with fairy lights & giant baubles. We created an apres-ski style chill-out zone in the barn and dressed the marquee with a gorgeous deep red satin and velvet lining with decadent crystal chandeliers. The wedding was featured in Brides Magazine and can be viewed here.
Ian at Jacaranda approached us with a great theme for a clients birthday. Dressing a huge barn in 70’s theme with a punk twist, just our kind of brief! Cue graffitti scrawled Union Jack Flags, Iconic Punk/70’s imagery projected onto inflatable spiky stars and huge fur strewn beds for guests to chill out on around a rather ‘saturday night fever’ light-up dancefloor!
